As far back as I can remember, I have always had a fascination for movies. Actually, the love for movies runs in the family. I started going to movies at a very young age. First with my parents, then later with my friends and sometimes on my own. I am a total Friday person. And FDFS gives me goosebumps.
There is a reason why I chose film reporting as my career. I love watching all kinds of movies: the good, the bad and the ugly. I have cut my teeth in reporting working with Deccan chronicle, International Business Times and Newsweek. Be warned, I don’t split hairs. I give my honest opinion about the movie I watch at the earliest. And I find my reviews are a reflection of the general opinion.
Also, thanks to my academic stints at St Teresa’s College, Kochi and Christ University, Bangalore – each a celebrity factory in its own right – I get a few insider info as well, which I generously sprinkle on my stories.
